addedImportant changesAdded three new achievements, connected to the secret bosses! People are finding them and they are cool! So I do want to add a bit of a reward. They are awarded retroactively. Simply hit a campfire and it is done. Hm, there's also a fourth achievement? Must be some sort of mistake...
removedImportant changesReworked Defract! Defract no longer lets you move while Refueling. It was simply far too powerful. Instead, Defract has a 10% chance to randomize your regained Rod(s). To offset the loss of movement, it's also slightly faster now: 50 ms for Refuel, 85 -> 75 ms for Defract.

Nothing major today. A small patch fixing some minor things. It also adds some new achievements and reworked Defract to make it less overpowered.

Important changes

  • Added three new achievements, connected to the secret bosses!

    • People are finding them and they are cool! So I do want to add a bit of a reward.

    • They are awarded retroactively. Simply hit a campfire and it is done.

    • Hm, there's also a fourth achievement? Must be some sort of mistake...

  • Reworked Defract!

    • Defract no longer lets you move while Refueling. It was simply far too powerful.

    • Instead, Defract has a 10% chance to randomize your regained Rod(s).

    • To offset the loss of movement, it's also slightly faster now: 50 ms for Refuel, 85 -> 75 ms for Defract.

Balancing

  • Buffed: Final Curser's Curse duration 5 -> 8 seconds

  • That's it. The game is perfectly balanced forever and nothing will ever change. Surely.

Fixes

  • With Easy Directions on, in a large room in an unmapped area, the map would look a bit off

  • Defract would not show adequate particles in the rod UI

  • During the main ending, Defract would overwrite the final "ability"

  • After the main ending, title screen completion percentage would not update immediately

  • Boss Rush room would show the final boss marker

  • Glitched Scroll no longer affects dummies, rare enemies, and some specific boss supports

  • Secret boss indicator hint. It is not a perfect square. Apologies.
