A new reward cosmetic system is now live.

Discover Ship Skins

  • Rare ship livery codes can now be found while investigating anomalies, defeating pirate camps, and completing wormhole expeditions.

  • Each code corresponds to a specific skin for a specific ship hull.

  • Different skins have different rarities, and duplicate codes can be discovered.

  • Every discovery includes a Military Advisor message with the skin name, source, and visual preview.

  • The first discovery also explains how activation and cosmetic trading work.

Obsidian Eclipse Collection

  • The first collection, Obsidian Eclipse, contains 30 individual ship liveries.

  • These cosmetics are visual only and provide no combat, economic, or mechanical advantages.

  • Equipped liveries are also represented by their appropriate ship sprites on the galaxy map.

Activation

  • Discovered codes appear under Market → Cosmetics.

  • Activating a code consumes it and permanently unlocks that livery for the account.

  • Unlocked liveries can be managed and equipped under Profile → Cosmetics.

  • A code cannot be activated again if the corresponding livery is already owned.

Cosmetic Marketplace

  • Players can list unused cosmetic codes for a fixed price in Credits.

  • Listing prices use whole Credits only.

  • Unsold listings can be cancelled and returned to the owner’s inventory.

  • Identical listings are grouped together, showing the lowest available price and the number of codes currently offered.

  • Seller identities are not exposed.

  • Already owning a skin does not prevent purchasing another code, allowing duplicate codes to be collected or resold.

  • Purchases include a confirmation window showing the exact Credit charge and warning that the transaction cannot be reversed.

  • Price changes are verified at purchase time to prevent accidental purchases at an unexpected price.
