NeuroCorp changes
Welcome to Neurocorp!
Hello everyone! We are Broken Quill, a young studio born recently with a clear goal: to create intense experiences. Today, we are thrilled to introduce our first major project: Neurocorp.
Neurocorp is a cooperative loot extraction and horror game set in a cyberpunk world. It’s not just about surviving and meeting your extraction quota; we also wanted to give you a space of your own by allowing you to customize your lobby, making every session with friends feel unique.
What you are about to play is just a sneak peek of what we have in store. Our plan is to implement much more complex and polished mechanics following our Early Access launch.
Known Issues & Bug Report
We are eager to hear your thoughts. We want Neurocorp to grow alongside its community, so any feedback is gold to us.
We know that, being a demo of an early version, there might be some bumps in the road. We are fully aware that bugs exist, and we are already working hard to squash them. Here is a list of known issues we are currently tackling:
Critical / Major Issues
Level Extraction Lock: In the "NAB'S Retrieval" level, the elevator may malfunction upon exit, preventing progress. If this occurs, a force close (Alt+F4) is currently required.
Interaction Loss: Players may occasionally lose the ability to interact with world objects, including weapons.
Lobby Object Persistence: Some lobby items may disappear entirely after their positions are modified.
Main Menu Navigation: The "Quit Game" option in the main menu may become unresponsive in certain instances.
- Lobby Session BugIf a party member leaves the group to return to their own lobby, they may be unable to host or join new sessions until the game is restarted.
Gameplay & AI (Minor)
AI Pathfinding: Enemies may occasionally get stuck at specific points on the map.
NAB'S Extraction Sledgehammer: Interaction with the sledgehammer can feel unresponsive or "clunky," occasionally limiting repeated use.
Voice chat failure: Players may lose the ability to communicate with each other upon entering a death state or while moving through specific areas of the map.
Minimap Limitations: Certain floor levels and objects are currently not rendered on the minimap.
Spectator Mode: When spectating, the camera may occasionally lose focus on players and reset to the map's origin point (coordinates 0,0,0).
Settings Application: Certain audio, visual, or gameplay settings may fail to apply depending on the player's current zone.
Visuals, UI & Sound (Minor)
Missing Assets: We are still in the process of implementing various SFX (Sound Effects) and VFX (Visual Effects).
UI Overlap: Users may experience overlapping interface elements in certain menus.
Character Animations:"T-Poses" may appear on character models, most notably within the customization menus.
Help us improve!!
