Thanks for your feedback and suggestions. The new update brings improvements to item decay systems, online multiplayer stability and improved visual quality of some game elements.
Multiplayer & Networking
- Discovery SyncFixed inconsistent Point of Interest discovery logic between Hosts and Clients. The discovery system has been simplified to ensure all players in a session see the same progress.
- Animal AreasResolved an issue where certain animal areas were not being correctly discovered on the map.
Economy & Resource Systems
We have performed a major rework of how item freshness and decay are handled in-game.
Item Decay Rework: Removed duplicate decay components from storage chests.
The system now handles all default decay times at the same time, specifically for meal items, rather than individual components managing their own timers.
- Loot & CropsAdded Cotton Seeds and Wheat to North Plains loot. Now you can grow your own cotton and wheat after you find some seeds.
Building Balance: Performed general balance adjustments to building requirements and durability.
World & Exploration
- Trader EventsTo make the Trader easier to find, events will now always appear at two fixed locations - one per island.
Environment: Improved the overall setup and quality selection for Ocean rendering.
Adjusted the collision for rocks on the left side of the Coastal Tower to prevent you from getting stuck in the terrain.
- VisualsFixed an issue where the fog during a Plague Wind would become too harsh, making navigation nearly impossible.
Player & NPC Mechanics
Added additional safety checks to player movement to prevent characters from getting stuck in narrow or complex geometry.
NPCs:
Increased the detection range for Guards to make stealth more challenging.
Adjusted the Villager gender spawn ratio to ensure a more even distribution between male and female NPCs.
- Camera & UIFixed a bug that allowed the camera to continue moving after the Raid Video Tutorial popup appeared at the Blacksmith station.
Improved the Main Menu layout to better support Ultra-Wide monitors.
Bug Fixes
Resolved an issue where specific Points of Interest would fail to trigger discovery labels.
Fixed an interaction bug with the Blacksmith craft station during tutorial.
Did some file clean-up for better performance.
