After being 'few weeks away' for several months, and then a 'few days away' for a week, 0-2-5a is finally released! And with it, Super Ace is finally here! This is a new campaign-like game mode, available on Steam DLC.
There has been an important change to the Standard match Win Condition. The tie-breaker has been reworked. The team colors no longer have any specific meaning or rule attached, and both players now start with the same number of workers. Destroying Cores now awards 2 points instead of 1. The new tie-breaker is the Rush-Point, awarded once per match. The first unit destroyed awards 1 point, which acts as the tie-breaker.
There was also a major rework to metal mining: Gold can now be dropped off at Cores. However, Gold is mined slower now, and workers cannot carry as much (only 5 per trip instead of 7). These changes allow more options in the early game, and each faction has its own way to improve Gold mining in the mid-game. There is also more Mojo and Gold on the map. Defender units have had their production rates nerfed, and other Mojo abilities now cost more.
