Mysteries of Old Tokyo changes
Historically, the area of Tokyo east of the Sumida River was poorer and less developed, compared to the area around the Imperial Palace. Until this update, that was the same case for Mysteries of Old Tokyo - but now we welcome the Hanzōmon Line and 12 new stations to the game, including the important hub of Kinshichō and Oshiage for the Tokyo Skytree.
There's also numerous fixes to make puzzling a bit less clunky, including the ability to save marks when finding similarities and quickly check text and image clues at the same time.
Features
Expanded the Tokyo rail network, now including stations east of the Sumida River and the all-new Hanzōmon line.
The “similarity finder” screen on the report database is now part of the postcard page. This means you can leave and return to the similarity finder without losing your progress, and browse the text and image clues while plotting your marks. Also, you can go back and review the modern-day image after a successful analysis.
Puzzles
Small fixes to make tutorial and puzzles a bit clearer.
Bug fixes
Music should now start playing correctly if you quit and restart in the middle of the tutorial.
Music should generally play a bit more consistently now, instead of getting stuck and stopping.
Other
The “Back to city” button on the map screen is now changed to the more accurate “View last postcard”.
