changedCiao to all Chef Warriors and Innkeepers! Here’s our second demo patch, focused on improving gameplay flow and squashing nasty bugs. Those daring enough to return to the Fresche Frasche Woods will be greeted by snappier combat and some beautiful graphics!!
addedBelow you’ll find the full list of changes:Added updated graphics for the Fugo habitat in the Wilds, now featuring gigantic mushrooms. Added a dynamic minimap in the Inn, displaying Pranzo's position and responding to Room's unlocks. Added some time to the Inn's minigame, allowing the player to serve a greater number of plates. Added a tutorial card to clarify Dusk and Nightfall behaviour. Improved signaling for the Motato healing bushes. Improved transparency for the trees in the Wilds, grating the player better vision. Improved timing for the Salthasker's recharge animation. Improved feedback when the Monsters become cookable. Improved various SFX and music. NPC's Daily Menus are no longer forced as Active Menu. The Saltshaker attack can now be cancelled from mid animation, quickening the combat's pace. Fixed a bug where the Blacksmith's Menu won't spawn Psycabbages if you haven't completed the Carpenter's Menu. Fixed a bug where the Chef Sense’s trail led the player to dead ends. Fixed resolution change problems for 2K screens. Various other fixes and small changes. We are deeply grateful for all the feedback we have received so far: every opinion is fundamental to improve the game. Although some additional planned changes aren't ready at the moment, we are working hard on all suggestions to serve you the best version of Monster Chef we can cook. NOTE: The demo version is now 0.0.14. All previous save files are unfortunately obsolete, so you’ll need to start the demo from the beginning. We know it can be a bit of a pain, but think of it as the perfect excuse to discover all the new improvements, we promise it’ll be worth it! As always, we’re eager to hear your feedback.
