Kudos to all Chef Warriors and Innkeepers!
Here’s our first patch for the Monster Chef Demo!
We focused mainly on quality-of-life updates and bug squashing. Below you’ll find the full list of changes:
Added clearer information to help you navigate the Wilds and find Monsters; removed the Chef Sense hint when no Daily Menu Monster is nearby.
Most non-combat animations can now be canceled by rolling or attacking, ensuring better combat flow and preventing involuntary hits.
Updated the spawn logic for NPCS Furia and Ago, so they appear consistently on specific days.
Adjusted Chef Door spawn rates to make it easier to find on your first run.
Added the ability to close the Daily Menu UI before choosing a Menu.
Now the Inn mini game Timer UI never covers the clients’ requests balloons.
Improved UI scaling for widescreens.
Various other fixes and small changes.
NOTE: The demo version is now 0.0.13. All previous save files are unfortunately obsolete, so you’ll need to start the demo from the beginning. We know it can be a bit of a pain, but think of it as the perfect excuse to discover all the new improvements, we promise it’ll be worth it! As always, we’re eager to hear your feedback.
