The Time Cube has been rebuilt from the ground up with a unique visual identity inspired by Gene Ray's infamous four-day theory.

🔷 New Azure Visual Language

  • Vortex Faces — Azure blue swirling time vortex on each face of the diamond, with 4-phase color cycling representing the "4 simultaneous days"

  • Blue Metallic Frame — Shining blue frame with white shimmer highlights that sparkle when the tower is active

  • Compass AoE — A rotating clock/compass ground disc with 4 colored quadrants, sweeping clock hands, and concentric rings marking the tower's range

  • Tesseract Enemy VFX — Enemies hit by the Time Cube now display a rotating wireframe tesseract (4D hypercube projection) with azure sparkle particles floating around it

✨ Shimmer, Not Glow

The Time Cube uses a subtle traveling shimmer effect instead of flat emission glow. When active, highlights ripple across the surface — understated and premium.

🎲 Multi-Axis Tumble

New tumbling rotation system — the cube lazily tumbles through multiple axes when idle, then spins up dramatically when enemies enter range.

🔊 Clock-Tick Audio

A procedurally generated clock-tick activation sound plays when enemies enter range — reversed whoosh, crystalline chime, and echoing ticks.

🎛️ Full Inspector Control

  • 30+ export variables for tweaking every visual parameter in the editor

  • Editor preview toggles for both AoE and enemy VFX

  • Debug logging with [c][TIME_CUBE][/c] prefix

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed cubic debuff VFX not disappearing when enemies leave tower range

  • Fixed tower debug sandbox unpausing enemies when switching between tower types

  • Billboard shader now properly tracks the camera at all times
