Minigunner Build 0.8.9.6 Patch Notes
This long anticipated update brings a huge new shipment of robotic companions to the shop. Each sentry and drone has unique strengths that can turn the tide of battle in your runs!
Need more single target damage for boss fights? Why not pick up a Marksman sentry or Scattershot sentry! Need more AoE for large groups of enemies? Use a Flamethrower drone or a Frostbomb sentry to control those crowds! With so many options to choose from, there's a sentry or drone for every situation!
We've also given some tender care and love to some of the Engineer's items, with a rework to the Experimental micro-rockets and a ton of exciting improvements to some of his legendaries, he is going to be eating good this update!

General
-Standardized the way we describe the player's health, will now be stated as 0.5 instead of 1/2
-We’ve made a handful of optimizations to improve performance across the board- especially in the Abyssal Warden boss fight!
-Added new loading screen tips relating to our new sentries and drones
-Added a whole new batch of SFX to the Minigunner and quite a few of his items!
-Improved sentry and drone damage tracking that is displayed in the equipment page of the TAB screen, will now take into account item effects like micro rocket explosions.
-Added muzzle flashes to the attacks of sentries and drones
-Added and improved VFX for many item effects including critical hits, flame trails, damage numbers, and more!
-Improvements made to ally pathing, drones should move much smoother now
-📡 Small and Large First Aids now display how much they can heal for before you buy them from the shop
-📡 Brigade beamers can now notice and seek out enemies that are around walls or behind cover
-📡 All allied drones can now freely path over low walls and through highground platforms (they will no longer take the scenic route anymore!)
Sentries & Drones
NEW: The Marksman Sentry ⚙️90 scrap This sentry has exceptionally long range! Place it on a far away sentry spot and let it snipe away at the toughest enemies. Its projectiles gain more damage the further they travel!
- NEWThe Scattershot Sentry ⚙️90 scrap This close range sentry gun has a reduced targeting radius but makes up for it with devastating bursts of damage!
NEW: The Frostbomb Sentry ⚙️100 scrap This sentry excels into big groups of enemies, it fires high-tech frost bombs that explode on contact, damaging and slowing all enemies hit!
NEW: The Assault Drone ⚙️160 scrap This heavy duty drone has slower movement and turn speed, but cranks out a barrage of bullets towards any foes that get within its sights!
NEW: The Missile Drone ⚙️120 scrap This versatile drone fires homing rockets that lock onto nearby enemies, exploding on contact and damaging nearby targets!
NEW: The Flamethrower Drone ⚙️170 scrap This spicy drone will engulf enemies in scorching flames, extremely effective when enemies are clustered together!
- NEWThe Scrap Recovery Drone ⚙️30 scrap This helpful drone will attempt to recover scrap that has despawned. A scrap deposit isn't truly lost until all available scrap recovery drones have tried to salvage it!
NEW: The Surveillance Drone ⚙️30 scrap This watchful drone will seek out high health targets and scan them. Once the scan is complete they are marked to QUINTUPLE the next damage they take!
-Attack Drone Scrap price increased ⚙️75 scrap -> ⚙️80 scrap
-Compound Sentry Damage per second increased by +14%
-Fortress Sentry (Forge Hammer Upgrade) Damage per second increased by +24% Out of all Forge Hammer upgraded sentries, the Fortress Sentry (Formerly LVL 3 Sentry) is now the undisputed king of DPS, with the 60 scrap upgrade cost being 300% efficient on it now!
-Compound Mini-Sentry Damage per second increased by +25%
Items
-Experimental Micro-Rockets OLD: Your sentries gain a chance to fire a homing rocket instead of a normal projectile NEW: Your sentries gain a chance on hit to release a cluster of 3 homing rockets that seek nearby enemies
-Luminescent Prism Stun time increased 0.5 seconds -> 1.5 seconds
-Forge Hammer Improved the value of various forged sentry upgrades Added 3 new sentry upgrades:
Marksman Sentry -> Sharpshooter Sentry
Scattershot Sentry -> Scatterburst Sentry
Frostbomb Sentry -> Frostnova Sentry
-E40 Prototype Rounds Electric explosion damage increased 10 -> 30 Stunning electric explosion stun duration increased 1 second -> 3 seconds

-Fixed a visual issue with the E40 Prototype Rounds' particle trails
-Fixed issue (from the Commando Update) that prevented the Antique Speedloader from stacking
-Fixed an issue where you could get the frostbite debuff from the Frostblaster’s attacks before they actually go off
-Fixed issue where the TAB Map would show an incoming wave beyond the end of the game after winning (Wave 17 / 21)
-Fixed a bug where the gold ability border persisted after scrapping or trading the gilded anvil as Engineer
-Fixed an issue where the Giga-Beamer could very rarely fire an attack during its death animation
-Resolved an issue allowing you to acquire more stacks than intended for items
-Fixed a bug where you could use your movement skill while inside a vent
-Fixed an issue where damage to bosses with the burst rifle did not count towards charging the Military Munitions
-Fixed an issue where relocating a sentry could have an unexpected impact on its firerate
-Fixed issue where the Combat Jetpack's particle trails could get twisted up
