changedBetter DecorationsPreviously, objects could only be rotated every 90 degree. This is now changed to every 2 degree. This means you will be able to place objects with greater detail. Speaking of greater details, you can conquer water with a Pier. Simply place a pier and the water and get a full and valid tile to place objects on! And to help with selecting objects to place, the UI now uses tabs instead of a single-weirdly long scroll bar. Note: This might not be the final iteration of this Object-Placement-UI
addedBasic TutorialBasically, what the title says, a basic tutorial. If you are new to the game and you want to help with the controls and gameplay, this tutorial popup will help guide you!
changedUI OverhaulEvery UI element has been looked at, changes have been considered and things have changed! Buttons are rounded, windows have color and popup will pop more. Pun intended. Steam post image
addedMore OptimizationsIn the last devlog, some basic optimizations were made and this devlog I have enabled a feature to gain 2.5x FPS! Instead of getting 60 FPS, it's now closer to 180 FPS! To be technical: I have enabled Unity's Resident Drawer. This changes how the game renders objects, it uses Instanced Rendering.
changedMore OptimizationsEnjoy the performance testing world's madness: Why? Because a lot of unique objects are harder for the game to render than a lot of the same objects.
fixedMore fixesAfter upgrading to Unity 6.1, a lot of lighting and rendering was broken. Luckily this is now fixed. Other than that, a lot of features have received polish, getting the game closer to a demo!
