Mindaro changes
We’re back! True to our word, we’re keeping the momentum going with our second monthly update of the year. February has been all about taking the big systems we talked about in January and making them ready for testing!

Here is what’s been happening at Burning Boats Studios this month:
Development Progress
Last month, we mentioned that replication was in the home stretch. This month, we’ve been focusing on the details that make the game feel professional and seamless.
Multiplayer & Replication
We’ve spent February stress-testing the Item and upgrade replication we mentioned last time.
It’s one thing to make it work; it’s another to make it work when three players are all using abilities at once!
The Upgrade System
The Pods are now have the fully integrated upgrade "table" with the UI.
You can now clearly see your progression path and how your upgrades affect your stats in real-time.
We’re getting closer to that playable demo every day. If you want to be the first to jump in when the closed beta goes live, make sure to join our Discord!
The support from the "The Deep, the Dark, and the Cozy" event was incredible! We saw a great bump in wishlists, and we can’t thank you enough for supporting us and the other indie devs involved.
Discord Beta Prep
We are getting closer to that internal playable demo —if you haven't joined yet, now is the time to get in on the ground floor.
February was a month of refinement, and March is looking even busier. We are so grateful to have you all along for the ride as Burning Boats Studios continues to grow.
Keep your tools repaired and your sensors sharp—something tells us the creatures in the Lush area are getting restless.
