Hey Commanders,

fixedQuick SITREP: some of you lost your lifetime progress after the big save refactor a few versions back. Currency, meta upgrades, weapon stats, all gone from the menu even though the data was still sitting there on disk. That's been bugging me for a while, so this hotfix is mostly about getting your progress back.
addedIf you already have progress on the new save, the popup still lets you restore on top, I'm using a max merge so your current progress never goes backwards. Only numbers that were higher in the old save come across.
changedAudio mix was off, music and ambient were way too loud. Volume sliders now behave like they used to.
changed105mm upgrade cards were silently getting filtered out of sortie rolls because of a weapon naming mismatch. All 14 cards are back in the pool.

Save Recovery On launch, the game now looks for your old save file. If it finds one, a popup shows up with a preview of what's in there, currency, kills, sessions, and you pick Restore or Skip. Hit Restore and everything merges back into your current save. I'm playing it safe and archiving the old file as a backup after migration, so nothing gets deleted. If the popup never shows up for you, that means your save was fine the whole time.

Other fixes along for the ride

  • Audio mix was off, music and ambient were way too loud. Volume sliders now behave like they used to.

  • 105mm upgrade cards were silently getting filtered out of sortie rolls because of a weapon naming mismatch. All 14 cards are back in the pool.

  • Ground vehicles were teleporting when they got stuck or when nearby wrecks settled. Warp is capped, NavMesh obstacles only carve once the wreck is actually stationary, and ground units don't use bake-generated jump links anymore.

Appreciate everyone who reported the lost save thing with screenshots, made it way easier to track down. Keep 'em coming.

More patches on the way.

See you in the skies, -- Tolga ⚡
