changedFirstly, this update breaks saved games slightly (terrain on islands), so it introduces the "previous version" Steam branch so saves can be continued. This branch will be updated whenever the main one is, to avoid anyone losing progress.
changedSecondly on the UI side there's now a panel you can see your buildings on in a much nicer way when building, with hover-over for the useful information.
addedThirdly there is a new building: the air bottler. This device lets you suck up the atmosphere so you can sell it back for profit. More of a cartoon villain vibe than many of the elements, so it's relegated to the "Evil" skill, which the NPCs can't use. This skill can hold the various ideas we introduce which are more unconventional and don't always fit with the game's main vibe, so people can ignore it if they want. If you do go down this route, it's there to let you create a problem just so you can sell the solution. The air bottler itself also has a cool animation.
changedGameplay changes:
addedAdded "Evil" as a skill and its first building "Air Bottler" which allows you to suck the air out of the atmosphere and bottle it up so you can sell it (two delicious flavours, economy and premium). (Might in the future require you to take the 'dystopia' policy and lock you out of the good ending when multiple endings are in. Player only, NPCs won't bottle the atmosphere) -Build menu expanded into a side panel -Added potions of healing -Chapels and churches can be used to preach charity, boosting chances of villagers giving donations to the poor -Advisor now gives recommendations in the skill selection screen -AI advisor now defaults to "on" -Reduced rate of Evil Beetles in early game
fixedBugfixes: -Changed mapgen slightly to avoid issues with sub-islands' edges being recognised incorrectly as a different one -Fixed bug wrt Advisor -Fixed issue with thieves occasionally failing during expeditions -Fixed bug with ship not registering properly as "owned" by player, which caused expeditions sometimes to be blocked and ships to be duplicated
