🛠️ Megabattle Demo – Gameplay & Balance Update (v1.0.3)
Hey pilots!
We’ve just launched a new update for the Megabattle demo focused on making the game more intuitive, fair, and satisfying to play. This isn't a full overhaul — but it's one of our most important steps so far in terms of refining the player experience.
🎮 What’s new in v1.0.3?
✅ Improved Gameplay Flow
The UI during battles has been refined, making it easier to select cards, assign parts, and understand available actions.
The flow of turns feels more intuitive and responsive — no more clunky decision-making!
⚖️ Balance Pass
Several balance tweaks were applied to enemy stats, damage, and rewards to smooth out the difficulty curve.
We've addressed a major issue where players could exploit the game by focusing on a single weak enemy part to break the combat system. That’s no longer viable — strategy now matters more than ever.
🐞 Bug Fixes & Text Corrections
Minor bugs and inconsistencies have been ironed out
Several text and localization fixes throughout the game
💬 Why this update matters
This version of the demo marks a big improvement in how Megabattle feels. It’s faster, clearer, and more balanced — and it gets us closer to the level of polish we’re aiming for.
We’re now shifting our focus to:
Adding better audiovisual feedback in battles
Making the combat feel more “punchy” and dynamic
Continuing to refine game balance and pacing based on your feedback
