Mega Squad Survivors changes
Thank you to everyone who played the demo. Ahead of Next Fest (starting June 15), we gave the demo its biggest polish pass yet.
🔊 Sound Is Here
Sound effects added — attacks, enemy kills, pickups, level-ups, bond skills, and boss entrances now have audio feedback
Background music added — separate tracks for the lobby, title, and combat
Sound volume settings — adjust SFX volume in the settings menu
⚡ Major Performance Optimization
Smoother large-scale battles — significantly improved frame rates when the screen fills with your legion and thousands of enemies
Graphics quality options — choose Auto / High / Medium / Low in settings; it can also scale automatically to your hardware
Low-spec & virtual environment notice — detects environments without graphics acceleration and warns you
✨ Reworked Effects & Game Feel
Reworked bond skill effects — new light pillars and particle work for sharper, flashier moments
Camera glide — the camera now smoothly trails movement, knockback, and dashes for a stronger sense of speed
Stronger deploy transition — beefed-up dust-sweep effect when entering a stage
Further mass-kill effect tuning — reduced eye strain even more
🎮 Content & UI
Reworked unlock flow — warriors now unlock in order as your cumulative kills grow
Reworked battle-select (deploy) screen — refined star missions, tooltips, and fresh visuals
Improved deck & achievements visuals — cleaner, more consistent UI
Major English text pass — fixed awkward translations and wording throughout
⚖️ Balance
Per-stage enemy count tuning — eased late-stage buildup for a more comfortable experience
