Build Version 3434 This patch includes various improvements and fixes. Gameplay - Added the Gatherer to the research and build tree, enabling a new role for resource collection. - Introduced Reeds as a harvestable resource. - Tasks cancel more reliably when interrupted or conditions change. - Crafting feels snappier after removing unnecessary timing interpolation. - AI can now access shared inventory for gathering and crafting. - General animal system refinements to support smoother behaviors. UI/HUD - New resource warning alerts you when key materials run low. - Temperature is now displayed on the HUD. - Cleaner HUD with better-managed visibility and general widget polish. - Integrated the Gather/Workbench interface into the standard Workbench UI. - Introduced an initial Gather Manager panel for easier oversight. - Updated priority and placeable icons for improved clarity. Audio - New voiced dialogue for Simon and Callum, plus additional NPC dialogue variations. - Fixed impact sounds so workers no longer sound like wood when struck. - Prevented certain spawners from triggering unintended audio. Visuals - Updated several character and animal animations. - Hit visual effects are now chosen more accurately based on the target material. - Weather transitions refined for smoother visual blending. - Fields now use dynamic meshes, improving their look and future expandability. AI & Creatures - Wolves no longer get stuck in buildings and will de-aggro when the player goes indoors; additional stability fixes applied. - Mosquito behavior issues resolved. - Workbench interactions for AI have been smoothed to reduce jittery behavior. Controls & Movement - Movement input now accumulates combined directions for more natural diagonal movement and better responsiveness. - Improvements to flying creature movement and behavior. Dialogue & NPCs - NPC-to-NPC conversations have been reactivated. - Expanded conditional dialogue logic for Simon so lines respond better to game state. Tutorials & Onboarding - Added new Welcome and Food tutorials to improve early-game guidance. - Additional tutorial fixes and refinements. Technical & Performance - Upgraded underlying systems to support dynamic meshes and geometry caching, bringing minor performance and stability gains. - Improved internal detection/collision accuracy in specific edge cases. - General code, plugin, animation, interaction, and character initialization cleanups. Bug Fixes - Fixed a villager duplication exploit. - Resolved multiple struct/data errors that could cause instability. - Addressed a crafting issue related to threshing. - Fixed rare cases of unintended audio playing from spawners.
