Matchmaker: Dungeon Heart changes
We're bringing you a massive update in the first minutes of December!
The big ticket item for this version are the new talking animations! The datable characters are so much more expressive now, and we love how they look. Huge shout out to our artist and programmer that got all of these working in the span of just 1 month!
In addition to this, we've seen the comments about our typos, spelling and grammatical errors, and we got pretty embarrassed. So, we made a new workflow and we've identified and corrected over 300 of them. (ːsteamfacepalmː so many...) There will still be some lingering in our massive script, but hopefully the dramatically reduced occurrences will put some of you at ease.
Lastly, we've got new content to spice up your daily dungeon life, and support for a few different screen sizes. We're still working on steam deck resolution, but hopefully we'll have a lot more supported sizes in our full release.
Thanks for reading these and following along with our development. Our next major update is unlikely to release in December will all the features we were hoping, but we're trying our best to get this game completed. Patch notes below, happy matching! -Ghost Moth

Added:
All boss fights now have a second fight, including the new boss!
Datable characters now talk with their mouths, blink, and idle around!
New boss has unique music track and sound effects
Gave multiple combatants blocking moves so they can stay in fights a bit longer (and pressure you to attack or use anti-block assists)
Spirits that change how you play each day based on their mood
A dungeon activity to appease the spirits
An animated title screen background based on your last location!
Windowed and Fullscreen support
Support for three 16:9 screen resolutions
Changes:
Fixed 305 text errors in the script
Eldoris' chance attacks are now a bit more likely to deal damage
Consumable items in the vault are significantly cheaper than before
Increased relationship points given by combat reward (1->3)
Temporal Bloom research cost reduced (999 gold -> 200 gold, still hard to get with the current content, but more achievable long-term)
Hid the dungeon entrance from the map because there was no reason to go there
Buffs and Debuffs now pulse when they are triggered
If you acquire a spell or an item while you have empty slots, they are automatically equipped
All obstacle motes can now be cleared using column, row and area clear motes.
Bug fixes:
Increasing friendship with Eldoris will no longer increase friendship with Konstantina for no reason
Opponent healing and blocking now appear on the correct side of the matchmaker
Journal fills in completed hearts properly
Eldoris' Binding Gift attack will no longer soft-lock combat if it tries to replace itself
Some soft locks that occurred during daily/date dialogue fixed
Calyx's cooking challenge will now succeed if you do it right, and fail if you do it wrong (it did the opposite before, oops)
