Matchmaker: Dungeon Heart changes
The imps have finalised the touches on the latest shipment of fixes, balance and improvements. We noticed AJ was quite the challenge in the early game, so we're slowing down his crushing strike attack just enough to allow you to find some extra focus. We're always keeping an eye on the forums and making adjustments based on feedback, so feel free to make suggestions on improvements and balance, we'll see it and likely do something about it.
As a little update on how we're tracking, the team is currently working at full speed to increase the game's content and features for the next major update. We've also recorded all but a few characters voice acting, and we're preparing to reveal our voice cast over the next few months, so stay tuned on our socials to catch those before anyone else.

Added:
You can now look at a mote's tooltip by holding right click.
New puzzle music, and a new sound effect for scouting
New scouting dialogue for the new commanders, and the new invasion targets!
Locked status now displays turns remaining in tooltip
Added a tooltip to the tooltip button (I heard you liked help so I added some help to your help)
Changes:
Nerfed AJ's Crushing Strike turns (2 -> 3)
Blocking moves now set the characters block to the value, rather than adding (to prevent massive block totals)
Nerfed Daybreak's Reinforce turns (1 -> 3) and amount of block gained (30 -> 20)
Buffed the "Increase MaxHP" combat reward (1 -> 3)
Oren's Solo Spotlight matchmaker effect now goes away if Oren's mote is cleared early.
Buffed the Ice Breaker research to chain clearing the frozen status (looks cool)
Nerfed the Trance Breaker research, only goes into effect when you take damage (before it was when you were hit, even if you blocked)
Changed how burning status spreads so it is less chance based. Should result in less fires
Hidden status now fully hides mote underneath, and the tooltip explanation is clearer
Changed wording for all status effect tooltips to make their end condition clearer
Changed wording for Passive Bone and Sorcery Multiply buffs
Changed wording for Sweet Spot item
Changed some of commander Gleam's dialogue (to match with future VO)
Fixed up some oddities in AJ's first hangout
Updated stun status given by Exalted Bolt
Bug fixes:
You can now trigger Philomela's placeholder hangout, advance her friendship, and unlock her assist/research!
Fixed bug with Konstantina's "Make an Opening" assist, no longer fills the matchmaker with junk
Eldoris' daily conversations should now end naturally
The Ancient Secrets research no longer breaks combat (and has a new sprite)
Colour Combo research now actually adds the combo damage
Several tutorial battles refactored for clarity, and to prevent incorrect end states
Number pop-ups during battles now include buffs/debuffs that provide passive healing/focus, and use the correct total if modified
