MARKSMAN VR changes
Thank you for your feedback during our first week in Early Access. This update completes our planned v0.2.0 roadmap while adding several "Extra" improvements based on your direct reports.
Roadmap v0.2.0 (Planned Improvements)
The following items from our official roadmap are now live:
- New Tutorial SystemA completely overhauled guide to help new players master core mechanics.
- Weapon RebalancingThe first and second sniper rifles are now Semi-Auto with adjusted damage for a better early-game flow.
Mission UI Guidance: The mission menu now clearly shows which levels are unlocked.
Mandatory Calibration: A required calibration step now runs at launch for accurate height and tracking.
- UX ImprovementsAdded an easily accessible Exit Game button and target distance markers in the Shooting Range.
Interactive Shooting Range: The range door is now manually interactive.
- Iron Sight FixResolved the issue where the hand would obstruct iron sights; aiming is now clear.
- Bug FixesCorrected equipment/magazine body locations, weapon grab rotation, and fixed the Level 1 climbing collision.
- Audio & VisualsFixed the 0% master volume bug and optimized contrast adjustments.
Community Extras (Bonus Features)
In addition to the roadmap, we’ve added these improvements based on your recent feedback:
Valve Index Movement: Significantly overhauled movement and rotation specifically for Valve Index users.
- Entrance Menu & SettingsSettings are now fully integrated and accessible directly from the new Entrance Menu.
- Borderless FullscreenAdded support for Borderless Fullscreen to improve VR stability and multitasking.
- Audio PolishReduced the volume of the intro video for a better startup experience.
- Save SystemImplemented backend updates to the save system for improved reliability.
- UI GuidanceAdded "Coming Soon" tags to locked weapons and fixed text overlapping on pop-up windows.
