Repeated intro
Hello Luminaries! The last couple months have been a whirlwind of excitement and WORK! We hit 40,000 Wishlists, actually we are currently sitting at 43K, and we've been crunching heavy behind the scenes getting ready for our Early Access launch date, that looms ever closer with each passing day. A day that many of you might have saw as July 30th. Well turns out, everyone and their moms decided to release a game that week haha, so we decided to push 10 days later to give us a bit more breathing room and "hopefully" more visibility.

Luminary changes
Luminary's Day 1 Early Access Release date is officially August 11th, 2026. Along with that news we've decided to reveal our Early Access Launch price as well: $19.99 usd - with Regional pricing and a 10% launch week discount
Some have said maybe that price is cheaper than expected for an Openworld Co-op ARPG, but this is Day 1 Early Access after all. While Luminary may one day get to be as big Enshrouded or Palworld, it won't be Day 1, so we wanted to reward our early supporters with a cheaper price.
(Plus we are only 2 people, so it doesn't take as much for us to be happy and "successful")
Hall of Heroes Speaking of rewards for Early Supporters, have you signed up for the Hall of Heroes yet? Don't forget that we have a signup form, for people who pledge to play Luminary Week 1. And to say our thanks, I'm putting their names in Luminary to stay for all eternity.
Steam post image (Signup needs to happen before August 11th launch) Sign Up Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfgKWlvI_csm8KiFMq8us21iNnoaStpwSEgKCfU2Cfv1F8Apw/viewform Also there "may" be a closed Co-op Playtest coming up before launch. We are eying the weekend of July 17th. This is not a definite, but if it happens the people who we have email addresses for from the Hall of Heroes signup will be the first to get that signup email information. Demo Update We've also Updated out Demo on Steam! The demo that's been up there was over 3 months old. We've made a lot of improvements to our build and systems since then, so we felt it was a good time that our Live Demo reflectedthat. I'm not even going to begin to go through every little bug fix and update, but here are the highlights added to the demo:
All foliage and Trees have be remade for better look and performance
All foliage and Trees have wind movement
Wind movement can be turned off in settings under effects if needed for performance
Grass now has full player interaction (Bushes and water coming soon)
Low settings texture sizes reduced to save on VRAM (More optimization coming for low)
Enemies have better hit reactions and knockback
Archery (Bow) system as been completely rework, more accurate to crosshairs and fun
Archers now get a chance to retrieve arrows from shot enemies
Shield blocking and Bow now have proper strafing animations
Enemies now drop loot, expect money, goblin teeth, weapons, arrows, potions, and more
Player camera is now adjusted to sit just above the head per race
New system in place for creating and saving maps
New system setup to decide on Solo or Co-op per play session (co-op disabled for demo)
New items and descriptions added
New animals added to environment
Better structures built around Temple for additional secrets and fun
Hall of Heroes built and introduced, more Statues and names to come
Mining Crystals now fly out of ore making them easier to see and grab
Added effect for sword collision on landscape and rocks
Stamina adjustments made to Bow, Dodging, and Sprinting removed (It served no purpose)
Stamina Lock on Empty bug fixed
Screen and Ui bar effect now show when you are trying to act without enough Stamina
Previous Demo Characters / World saves are erased because they wont work of the new systems
Individual advanced graphics settings can now be changed correctly which switches to custom
That's enough haha. Most of the work the last couple months has been on the main map area and systems there, but the work trickles back over the the demo from time to time.
Thank you all for following us on this journey, we can't wait to see you all August 11th!
