Patch 0.326a: Ice biome

The ice biome is now playable! Most quests have been added and the world bosses are now done for the forest and ice biomes! I'm also adding 200 extra playtesters, your feedback is appreciated!

  • Boulders Rain: Fires salves of giant boulders at a target zone. The boulders stay for while modifying the landscape.

  • Giant Stomp: Stomps the ground with a giant feet, shaking the ground and doing massive aoe damage knocking back everyone around. Does extra damage to trees and buildings.

  • Hand Swipe: Use your giant hands to wreak havok. Leaves a trail of rocks.

  • Giant rockets: Fires 20 rockets from each canon in the Armored titan. The rockets do aoe damage on hit and clear the snow on hit.

  • Ice Hurricane: Blows everything in front of the Armored titan, pushing them away.

  • Added a new village in the ice biome. - Added the following upgrades:

  • Wooden wall chunk -> Reinforced wooden wall (+250 hp)

  • Wooden roof -> Tiled roof (+250 hp)

  • Chest -> Enchanted chest (+8 slots)

  • Added a new itemRing of the North: makes you immune to the environemental freezing effect. - Added 2 quests:
  • main quest: ice biome, it contains 10 missions.

  • Added the quest: An Alchemist's request.

  • Added a cave for the Alchemist's quest. - Added the following quest objective typesSave Core, Upgrade Building, Reach Supply level, Go to zone with Core - Added the /kill and /provoke commands to help with debugging.

Changes:

  • Titan, the giant golem now has new skills and can be killed. - Changed the terrain layout in the ice biome. It should be easier to navigate. - Changed the minimap UI, the contour should be lighter. - The death recap ui now aggregates environmental damages to make it easier to read. - You now have all your spells immediately when you unlock a class. - Chests models now has an open/close animation when you use them (client sided for now) - Some quests can now enable item drops for a specific area. - Some npcs can now spawn and follow you at specific contexts such as quests or regions. - All global entities now attack bases that are too close to them. This includes the titans and the giant desert worm. - The core and some other buildings now have a particle effect when they are destroyed. - The statue of memories also protects you from the cold, burn and drown effects.

Bugs:

  • Fixed a bug with procedural villages and the mountain terrain now being disabled inside houses. - Fixed a bug where monsters would walk very close to you even if they were ranged. - Fixed an issue with animations where the character would feel like it's sliding after a jump - Fixed a bug where starting a jump would have a delay adding into the sliding feeling. - Fixed a bug where the landing animation would not be called after a skill. - Fixed a bug where the server response would no longer be displayed in the world selection ui. - Fixed a bug with global entities rotation not being properly in sync with the server - Fixed a bug with combat cycles where the cycle would not start from the first step. - Fixed a bug with the ancient golem where his rumble skill would not work in dungeons. - Fixed a bug where the end chest and portals would not spawn when compelting a dungeon. - Fixed a bug where you would not be able to open chests or containers in dungeons. - Fixed a bug preventing the player from validating the "Sprinting" quest - Fixed a bug where the tooltips of quest reward items would not be displayed. - Fixed a bug with the plasma canon preventing you from using it. - Fixed a bug with batteries not sharing energy with other components. - Fixed a bug with the aggro table being locked if the target was destroyed. - Fixed a bug where some walls/floors would have the wrong rotation due to the shaking effect on hit not being properly destroyed.
