This week, we introduce the people of the Lost Isle—eight distinct NPC factions who call its towns home, each with their own trade, purpose, and secrets to share.

The Inhabitants of Lost Isle

The Lost Isle is not empty. Scattered across its pre-built towns and its wild jungles you'll find residents who have carved out lives amid the chaos. Each NPC belongs to one of eight factions, each with their own expertise, inventory, and a growing relationship with you that can be earned through quests and favor.

The Eight Factions

  • Order of Blacksmiths: Masters of the forge who excel in smelting ores, shaping metals, crafting advanced tools, weapons, and armor.

  • Cooking Guild: A prestigious guild unrelenting in their pursuit of culinary excellence.

  • Artisan Guild: From carpenter to stonemason, these builders uphold the highest standards of construction.

  • Coalition of Miners: Hardworking prospectors devoted to extracting the Isle's metals and gemstones.

  • Cloth & Leather Guild: Specialists in appearance, tailoring, and decoration.

  • Order of Nomads: Wanderers who have learned to tame wild animals and uncover hidden relics.

  • The Blight Watch: An oathbound force of soldiers whose sole purpose is protecting the citizens of the Lost Isle.

  • The Arcane Order: Mortal scholars dedicated to understanding and harnessing Mauroth's cosmic energies.

Vendor Functions

Every NPC does more than sell. Each faction member carries a specialized service that can only be accessed through them—making a trip to town as valuable as any dungeon run. But be sure not to neglect their quests, because as your favor grows so do their wares.

  • Blacksmith: Repairs weapons and armor; sells metal arms and components.

  • Cook: Converts raw food into cooking recipes; sells food and cooking tools.

  • Craftsman: Repairs items; sells crafted goods for boosting civilization scores.

  • Miner: Opens geodes; sells mining supplies and lighting.

  • Stylist: Changes your in-game appearance; sells cloth items, rugs, and decorations.

  • Vagrant (Order of Nomads): Converts fruits and vegetables into seeds; sells animals and planting supplies.

  • Watchmen: Redeems skulls for Marks of Mauroth; sells PvP and PvE gear.

  • Wizard: Enchants and disenchants weapons and armor; sells magical items.

Safe Zones & Where to Find Them

NPCs make their home in the Isle's pre-built towns—safe zones dotted across the map where hostilities pause and civilization takes hold. You'll also find them throughout the world; a Miner near a vein, a Vagrant beside a well.
