The Lost Isle has been a battleground for as long as it has existed. Those who lost their conflicts still fight on, now under Mauroth's command. Today we're walking through Mauroth's forces, the Breaches that summon them, and the Invasions that drop them on your doorstep.

Enemies

Whether a farmer who tilled his fields with a pitchfork or a wizard who once bent the elements to his will; in death, all serve Mauroth. His ranks have a place for every soul. Luckily for you Mauroth's breaches can't summon his stronger minions, such as the Meteor Golem. His forces are limited to the following:

  • Skeleton Spearmen

  • Skeleton Bashers

  • Skeleton Squires

  • Skeleton Shieldbearers

  • Skeleton Longswordsmen

  • Skeleton Archers

  • Skeleton Berserkers

  • Skeleton Rogues

  • Skeleton Bannermen

  • Skeleton Grenadiers

  • Skeleton Poisoners

  • And Dark Entities

Breaches

Breaches are Mauroth's main tool for forcing his will upon the rest of the Isle. These Breaches come in the form of small stone monoliths that look like this:

You won't miss them. Each one shoots an unnatural green glow into the sky. If you've read previous logs, you'll recognize it. That's the mark of Insanity. Linger too long near a Breach and the loss of sanity can be fatal.

Each Breach has three phases that promises more dangers, but even more loot. Each phase will summon stronger and more diverse enemies and the next phase will only start after they have all been cleared. You won't always know how many enemies are left. The Breach itself tells you. The energy etched into the stone fades as they fall.

Invasions

Sometimes Mauroth grows impatient with his efforts to conquer the Isle. When this happens it is typically marked with an Invasion. Invasions are in-game events in which Mauroth will summon multiple breaches inside a township. When that happens, your township's trade grinds to a halt.

Anyone who helps clear an invasion will be blessed by Illuminon and given a special award. So work together, and don't die.
