Lost Assassin - A Tale of AI Corruption changes
This update is to provide some details on what to expect when we begin the first major phase of our relaunch. The first update will be available Q1 2023!

Lost Assassin: Relaunch Details Although the game we previously created was somewhat OK for a team of two people, we were unhappy with the overall 'look' of the game and the rudimentary elements of the graphics, physics and features. We had lots of feedback and have taken it on board.
As this was the first time we have attempted to make a game available for purchase, there was much to learn. But now we have a great deal more experience and want to bring an all new Lost Assassin that is much closer to what we envisioned in the beginning.
So below are some of the things to expect when we drop a new update Q1 2023 (TBC)
The update will essentially be a small playable set of 1 or 2 completely new levels. Here is a list of changes.
General Changes
Updated Sprites and Textures - Reviewed and updated anything that didn't meet the new standards
UI completely remade - Looks much more theme specific and futuristic
Player and Enemies
Rebuilt jumping and jetpack mechanics - More fluid movement and momentum.
First round of new enemies - 'Corrupted Humans' - rigged, animated and improved AI
All new weapons and some attacks animations for enemies, recoil animations.
Some enemies now have close and long range attacks.
All new enemy type: Flamer Hulk (name TBC) - Flame thrower - gas tank back can be damaged, killing him upon explosion.
All new physics system including ragdoll deaths.
Weapons
New alt fire for Prospector Tool: Pick up and droppable objects. Damage enemies with objects.
Added charged weapon - 'Bolt Launcher'
Improved overall weapon balance and functionality
Environments and Objects
Greatly Improved visuals using 2D shader effects and lighting.
More variation in maps and environments.
Water and lava pools
Exploding barrels! (every shooter needs exploding barrels right?)
Destructible blocks - Improvements with player interaction
Many objects have weight, can be moved/thrown.
