Another full moon, another moonthly LithoBreak update.

This one is small and still on the experimental branch, but it is an important step toward getting the main game loop back together.

Last moonth was Quick Slots: better inventory behavior, quick slots `1` through `0`, and less magical oxygen handling. This moonth, the visible progress is site placement.

Right now you can:

  • breathe the air volume around the console

  • start up the console

  • place down a site

  • place a mixer in that site

  • inspect the mixer UI

What you cannot do yet:

  • build the mixer

  • run production

  • play a full site loop

  • walk away from the console and expect to breathe empty space

The long-term direction is still to make the first site work, then build toward real exploration and future multi-site gameplay. That starts with site placement, equipment placement, construction, resources, and production all agreeing with each other again.

If you try the experimental build, the most useful feedback is:

  • did site placement behave?

  • did mixer placement behave?

  • did the UI make sense?

  • did anything imply construction should work when it does not yet?

  • did the controls continue working when running out of air trying to get a better view of the moon?

Stay safe in the verse
