changedWe’ve been reading your feedback, and it’s clear that the UI can be confusing and some mechanics aren't as intuitive as they should be. We are still working on finishing and fully integrating the Pathways with the in-game guide, but in the meantime, we wanted to implement some immediate solutions to help with clarity.
changedPINNABLE TOOLTIPS & SYMBOLS
addedTo help you navigate the complexity of the game, we’ve made tooltips pinnable and interactive. You can now hover over tooltips to click through and follow the flow of required items and recipes without losing track of what you are building. Additionally, we’re working on updating the tooltips to document and explain the various symbols used throughout the UI, so you aren't left guessing what an icon means.
changedINTERACTION IMPROVEMENTS
addedWe’ve added more flexibility to how you interact with structures. You can now use the Hand Tool to pick up a building directly. This works as an alternative to taking items from buildings, and you can quickly swap between these two modes by holding CTRL. An option will be added to allow the behavior to be as it has been so far with no bumps for who is liking it in the current way.
addedWe are also working on a new intracellular and intracellular zone: fat tissue. This zone will be used to store lipids, which opens up new construction possibilities. Specifically, we are developing extracellular fat walls that will act as a barrier to insulate and keep heat inside your organism.

Please note that the graphics and mechanics are still a work in progress and everything is probably going to change, but we wanted to share the progress nonetheless.
As always, thank you for your feedback, it really helps us prioritize what to work on next.
Until next time, keep growing!
Mind that current UI improvements will be deployed on nightly build shortly to be tested and help us with your feedback!
