Hello everyone! One year ago today, we launched the very first demo of our game. Now, for our very first anniversary, we’re excited to bring you our first anniversary update! More content is already in development, and we hope you have a great time celebrating the Library’s anniversary with us!

New

  • New Boss: Kitsuru Samurai

  • Achievement System

  • Added a variety of challenge achievements.

  • Added many new achievements for bosses.

  • New Traps

  • Quicksand: Appears in the desert and related areas as belts of quicksand, slowing any entity standing on it.

  • Mushbooms: Strange fungi found in volcano areas and nearby regions that may explode when triggered.

  • Rooms can now contain piles of books / wooden barrels scattered on the floor that look very easy to break.

  • Added two new Arcane passive skills and one Dark Arcane skill.

  • The Great Pictorial Guide of the Grand Library of Meialiaadded an achievement index.
  • Added something that transcends the usual elements.

Changes

  • Status stackingreduced the damage/effect of elemental statuses, but increased the base number of stacks the player can inflict.
  • Most melee actions now consume stamina, including melee replacement skills.

  • Changed stamina consumption: when your stamina is fully depleted, most stamina-using actions are blocked for a short duration.

  • Lowered the defense of many bosses to avoid meaningless dragging out fight.

  • Adjusted multiple skill descriptions.

  • The weapons Earthen Claymore and Absolute Zero are now also affected by the "Charge and Cast Speed" blessing.

  • The **Sunken** effect no longer resolves instantly on being applied: after each application, it will always wait 1 second before resolving.

  • Bleed now also works on wind-type creatures.

  • Adjusted the elemental tags of Sahamusi Spear Soilder (to Fire and Earth).

  • Adjusted the elemental tags of Tsurura Princess (to Fire and Water).

  • Player Icon are now always displayed on top of other icons。

Fixes

  • Area skills will no longer continue dealing damage after their visual effects have disappeared.

  • Fixed issues where missing level presets could cause save errors and prevent saves from loading correctly.

  • Fixed a rare but severe bug where creating a new save could overwrite an existing save.

  • Fixed some movement/facing issues to reduce cases where characters suddenly snap direction or dash in strange directions.

  • Fixed some attacks being able to hit enemies "in another room".

  • Fixed certain ray / areal skills triggering damage too frequently at point-blank range, causing abnormally high burst damage.

  • Fixed an issue where player claw attacks and some melee skills could accidentally damage targets that should not be hittable.

  • Fixed abnormal collision / destructible behavior for certain skills.

  • Fixed a strange issue where rolling into the Amir’s claw could launch the player straight up into the air.

  • Corrected cases where the Amir's claws could move abnormally fast or slow.

  • Fixed an issue where the Sahamusi Spear Soilder's spear could lose its hitbox after it had been alive for a while.

  • Fixed some area damage effects failing to damage Laveel.

  • UI & Interaction

  • Fixed the mouse cursor disappearing when opening UI while focusing on an interactable object.

  • Fixed animation state machine issues for chests and some characters, making actions like charging and landing play more smoothly.

  • Fixed various text errors, placeholders, and inconsistent translations (including skill descriptions, achievement texts, and room descriptions).

  • Fixed rare runtime errors caused by abnormal data read/write.

  • Updated the credits page to include new localization staff and contributors.
