Repeated intro
Hello everyone, Gronkins here with patch 0.0.11 for the demo for Legends of Azamar. This patch includes a new type of ability called Signature abilities, and it also has various reworks and balance changes.

Legends of Azamar changes
Abilities
Ability growth per level: 5% -> 3%
Signature Abilities
At level 5, you no longer unlock Empower abilities. Instead, you unlock Signature abilities. Signature abilities are powerful attacks on a short cooldown (8 seconds). The idea is that Signature abilities provide burst damage and improve the flow of damage. Warrior and Rogue have 3 new Signature abilities.
As a consequence, Empower abilities are no longer available in the demo. Empower abilities may be re-added at a higher level in the future.
Rogue
- Leeching StrikesNo longer grants Maximum Health on Hit or increased Health Leech rate, instead it now grants 10% lifesteal.
Wind Dance: Dodge Chance: 35% -> 25%
- FadeReduced Damage Taken: 25% -> 20%
Passive Skill Trees
The layout of the passive skill trees have been reworked to be clearer for new players. All passive skill trees have been divided into four archetypes: The Mighty, The Swift, The Clever and The Enduring. The idea is that, you can quickly find related passives without having to scour all of the trees. For example, physical trees can be found under The Mighty and elemental trees can be found under The Clever. Additionally, each passive skill tree and archetype now displays stat tags to make it easier to find relevant skill trees.
Lastly, a new tree called The Phoenix has been added and can be found under The Clever. The Phoenix focuses on fire damage, ignite, and health regeneration.
The Serpent
- Deadly PrecisionDeadly Precision has been renamed to Toxic Strikes. Toxic Strikes no longer grants increased Critical Strike Rating, it now grants 4% chance to Poison.
Nature’s Accuity: Chance to Dodge Attacks: 2% -> 1%
The Eagle
- Survival InstinctsIncreased Armour and Evasion: 4% -> 3%
The Wellspring
- Serene MindIncreased Maximum Mana: 2% -> 4%
- Quick RecoveryIncreased Maximum Health: 1.5% -> 3%
- WellnessIncreased Maximum Health: 1% -> 3%. Increased Elemental Resistances: 2% -> 3%
The Sentinel
- ToughnessIncreased Maximum Health: 2% -> 4%
Items
Diamonds can now only drop starting at level 11.
Movement Speed growth on boots has been slightly reduced.
The appearance of Dexterity and Dexterity/Intelligence armour for Rogues has been changed.
Enemies
A new enemy type called Frost Skeletons can now spawn on floor 1. Frost Skeletons convert 50% of their physical damage to cold damage.
Frost Spiders now convert 50% of their physical damage to cold damage.
Increased the aggro radius of ranged enemies.
Miscellaneous Changes
The current item tooltip when comparing an item is now displayed on the left instead of the right.
Maximum character slots has been increased from 10 to 20.
Updated Chill’s description on the Character Sheet.
When inflicting zero damage with a hit (for example, if attacking with a broken weapon), it will now display “0” as a floating damage number.
Improved various sounds and audio.
Dungeon
Added two new dungeon rooms to floor 1.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where Parrying a hit would not reduce damage.
Avoiding a hit (Evading or Dodging) now correctly prevents debuffs from being applied.
Fixed an issue that caused Dexterity and Dexterity/Intelligence boots to not have the correct amount of defence.
Fixed a bug that caused Diamonds to not drop as the Rogue.
Projectiles no longer pass through walls.
