Kritter: Defend Together changes
Steam post image👋 Hello everyone !
This is Tom and Bastien, the two developers behind Kritter: Defend Together.
The game has now been out for 72 hours, which feels a bit surreal for us after four years of working on it, just the two of us.
We've received a lot of kind messages from players enjoying the game, and that truly means a lot to us. Thank you so much for the support!
But... we’ve also received quite a few reports about bugs some of you have encountered. And well… that part is less fun
🐞 Bug Busters at work
Please know that we’re aware of the issues and every day we’re working on fixing them. ( We are releasing a hot fix a day )
We did a lot of internal testing before release, but we clearly underestimated what happens when a game finally goes out into the wild, running on many different machines and hardware configurations.
The good news is that your reports help us track and fix issues quickly, day after day.
A huge thank you to everyone joining our Discord to report bugs and share feedback. It helps us a lot.
🎮 About Local Co-op
Right now, Kritter: Defend Together can be played:
Solo
Online Co-op
The game WILL support local co-op, but the feature isn't finished yet.
At first we thought:
“It’s not fully ready… but let’s include it in the game anyway. For testing”
That turned out to be a mistake on our part.
We will re-introduce the final version of local co-op in version 1.1, which will arrive soon. This is the first time we’ve released a game commercially, and there’s a lot to handle with our four small hands.
Sometimes we’ll make mistakes, but please know that we’re committed to fixing them all over time. If you encounter any issues, please let us know in the discussions or reviews. Don't hesitate to join our Discord server too. Your reports help us fix things faster! Thank you again for your support. More features, fixes, and adventures are coming soon!
