Patch Update – Combat System Adjustments, Menu Performance Improvements, and UI Fixes Now Live
This update introduces several combat-system refinements, including adjustments to Poise, Balance damage, and blocking behavior, along with improvements to menu performance and controller vibration responsiveness near corruption zones. Additional fixes address equipment upgrade menus, Echo interface behavior, quest description clarity, character creation display issues, and lighting consistency in specific encounters as we continue improving overall gameplay stability and responsiveness based on player feedback.
Gameplay, Combat & Traversal Improvements
Adjusted player Poise Block behavior for improved defensive consistency
Adjusted enemy Poise damage values for improved combat balance
Adjusted enemy Balance damage values for improved stagger behavior consistency
Adjusted player Stability and Balance damage taken while blocking to improve defensive reliability
Player attacks now grant a small amount of active Poise during execution
Fixed an issue where Ice Punch effects could remain active indefinitely
Fixed an issue where equipping items that modify attributes could incorrectly maximize player health
Fixed an issue where player blocking could sometimes fail to register correctly
Made minor traversal improvements to enhance movement reliability across several areas
Improved enemy AI navigation in several areas
Adjusted Deluxe Talismans effects for improved consistency
Boss Encounter Fixes
Fixed an issue that prevented Sephael from properly engaging the player during the encounter
Fixed an issue where Hiratrola could continue rotating toward the player after being cured
Fixed an issue where boss health bars could remain on screen after a boss was defeated
Fixed an issue where entering a Shard Guardian arena could sometimes cause the player to move as if underwater
Performance & Settings Improvements
Fixed an issue that caused frame drops during the opening cinematic
Improved menu performance to prevent stuttering while navigating interface screens
Fixed an issue where view distance quality settings were not saving correctly
Controls & Input Improvements
Added an option to invert horizontal camera movement in the control settings
Fixed an issue where the Invert Horizontal Look option displayed incorrect label text
Fixed an issue where mouse camera sensitivity changes were not saved correctly
Fixed an issue where the controller vibration option did not correctly activate when near corruption
Quest & Journal Improvements
Updated the description for the “Travel to Tandar” step in The Proving – Myr Pt. 2 quest for improved clarity
Updated the task description for the second step of The Missing Princess quest for improved clarity
Improved task descriptions related to Sacred Kristals across multiple quests for better objective clarity
UI & Menu Improvements
The Feline Tree now displays how many upgrades each Talent can have
Fixed an issue in the Character Creation menu where Clans could sometimes display spells belonging to another Clan
Fixed an issue in the Forge (Weapon/Talisman Upgrade) menu where Talisman tier buttons were displayed incorrectly using the same tier indicators as Weapons
Fixed an issue where Type E Echoes appeared in every Echo Type tab in the Echo Upgrade menu
Added screen-space visual feedback effects for low health, poison status, and nearby corruption
World & Environment Improvements
Fixed multiple collision and traversal issues across several areas
Fixed a lighting issue when returning to the arena after dying during the Wendigo Phase 2 fight
Adjusted fire hazard damage ranges to prevent players
