Patch Update – Bug Fixes and Improvements Now Live
This update introduces combat timing refinements, audio mixing improvements, traversal polish, and environment fixes across multiple regions of the game. Thank you to everyone continuing to share feedback with us.
Gameplay & Combat Improvements
Refined timing window for perfect dodge to make execution more lenient and responsive
General traversal improvements across multiple areas
Fixed an issue where players could become stuck in spider webs in Tandar
Fixed an issue where enemies throwing rocks failed to damage players positioned on elevated terrain
Fixed an issue where players could bounce on top of wall-run surfaces
Fixed an issue preventing Steed Long Jump from functioning correctly and causing debug lines to appear
Fixed an issue where Byaslag regenerated health immediately after a successful five-hit combo parry
Fixed sprint attacks not connecting with enemies
Improved vaulting collision and rotation to prevent players from becoming stuck during traversal
Improved placement and reliability of Steed Long Jump traversal points
Quality of Life Improvements
Reintroduced the “I’m Stuck” menu option, allowing players to safely reposition their character if they become trapped during gameplay due to unexpected issues
Players can now rotate their character after charging heavy attack animations
Performance & Stability Fixes
Fixed frame rate drops in game opening after cutscene
Fixed delayed visual rendering when traveling from Dalamase Outskirts Ellarial Font into Nisar
Fixed corrupted SFX audio occurring in Hallowed Haunts during The Proving – Myr Pt. 2
As a temporary safeguard, changes to the upscaling method now apply after restarting the game to prevent visual glitches during gameplay
Audio Improvements & Fixes
Fixed overlapping ambiance and music becoming excessively loud
Fixed music failing to fade out properly when moving between zones
Adjusted crouching footstep audio
Attenuated dialogue levels in the opening cutscene
Added localized ambient actor sound effects in select environments
Improved overall game audio mixing
Fixed water bank sound occlusion behavior
Added missing water soft-death splash sound
Fixed persistent container audio playing after already being opened
Fixed fast travel menu sound
UI & Skill Tree Fixes
Fixed an issue where the compiling screen image appeared truncated when HUD size was set to Small
Fixed an issue preventing spell tree tooltips from appearing when hovering over spells
Fixed an issue preventing players from selecting and upgrading skills in the skill tree
Fixed navigation in the Load Game menu when importing save files from the demo
Updated spell tree descriptions to correctly reflect perk and upgrade effects
Fixed incorrect effect descriptions displayed on some runes
Fixed scrolling behavior for item descriptions
Quests, NPCs & Interaction Fixes
Fixed an issue where Grimaldi’s dialogue failed to trigger at the Mansion exit in Tandar
Fixed an issue where Gustav failed to appear at the correct location after a cutscene
Fixed an issue allowing unintended progression skip at the start of the Maze – 2nd Prayer sequence
Fixed incorrect landing and respawn location after rope falls
Fixed an issue where players could become stuck outside the arena during the Lophi the Lost boss encounter
World & Environment Fixes
Removed floating environmental assets in several levels
Fixed collision issues on tree foliage in Nisar
Fixed missing footstep water splash VFX
Fixed an issue where enemies could not navigate through areas after doors had been opened, behaving as if the doors were still closed
