Patch Update – Bug Fixes and Improvements Now Live
We’ve just released a new update addressing a wide range of issues reported by players following Kristala’s launch. This patch includes gameplay fixes, quest corrections, UI and localization improvements, performance updates, and stability fixes across multiple areas of the game.

Steam Achievements are now functioning correctly
Fixed an issue preventing players from respecing talents
Improved enemy navigation behavior in the Tandar region
Improvements
Optimization improvements in Nisar – Dalamase
Equipment icons updated for clarity and consistency
Added explanation prompt for first-time Steed Jump usage
Gameplay & Combat Fixes
Addressed issues related to:
Aerial stealth attacks failed to deal damage
Dash animation played incorrectly while weapon was sheathed
Players could change loadout while wall grabbing, causing animation issues
Players could dash through non-breakable crates
Players could become stuck after NPC collision during combat near spider webs
Players could become stuck mid-air after dodging while running
Ladder climbing immediately after attacking could soft-lock the player
Some armor pieces prevented boss basic attacks from registering properly
Some bosses were unable to properly hit the player character
Weapon preview showed duplicated abilities in pause menu
Weapon could disappear when attacking while sheathing
Mistletoe Dart dealt unintended one-hit damage
Blood Spear damage scaled indefinitely
Sell prices incorrectly displayed as zero
Enemy behavior fixes:
Enemies failing to respond correctly to elevated player positioning
Grottorot Golem becoming unresponsive on elevated terrain
Lizard Brute remaining idle when attacked
Enemy NPC model rotating incorrectly during combat
Boss encounter fixes:
Yeti King boss encounter now starts correctly
Lophi the Lost health bar no longer disappears during the fight
Lophi the Lost long-range attack now deals damage as intended
Floating ring no longer persists after defeating NPC near Zazagrul Cottage
Quests & Progression Fixes
Addressed issues related to:
Progression could become blocked in The Proving – Nisar Pt. 2 due to missing interaction with Zazagrul
“Something Wicked” side quest auto-completed incorrectly after relogging
Incorrect instruction appeared directing players back to Nisar after the Tandara Kristal encounter
Duplicate Gustav NPC appeared after a cutscene
Players could become stuck when speaking with Levida
World & Environment Fixes
Addressed issues related to:
Stationary cameras could become stuck after moving away from their activation area
Fog collision behaved incorrectly near Zazagrul’s house
Players could walk above ground level near the first Ellarial Font
Water textures failed to appear during gameplay
Pot destructibles did not fully break
Lighting in Myrtuna could break when opening the map
Cannibal armor set was missing fur meshes
Echoing audio and freezing could occur in Myrtuna Catacombs
Boss music played unintentionally on game load in Lichyard Ruins
Audio & VFX Fixes
Addressed issues related to:
Footstep audio failed to trigger
Weapon-coating spell VFX behaved incorrectly
Projectile impact visuals remained on screen after hitting the player
Enemy hit VFX placement required adjustment
UI & Localization Fixes
Addressed issues related to:
Story and Pet difficulty modes displayed identical descriptions
Journal text failed to localize
Spanish (Latin America) UI elements failed to localize
HUD size displayed incorrectly in settings
“Press Any Button” prompt overlapped the main menu logo
“Press Any Button” briefly disappeared when changing controls
“Skip Ahead” opened the pause menu instead of skipping
Clan selection scrollbar appeared incorrectly
