Korter 1996 changes
Our final demo patch before the release is now live! Just in time for Next Fest. We’ve done a big UI overhaul to make it feel more like it’s part of the world that you are exploring. You can read more about the details below.
UI updates
You can now sit down and enjoy your tea while you read your notebook
Turn your notebook pages by hand!
You will be able to collect puzzle pieces in your wallet
Listen back to your audio notes with a portable cassette player
Avoid surprise scene transitions with handy confirmation dialogues
Clickable areas give you a feeling in your fingers (and a rainbow on your cursor)
Item placements
Resizing item sprites and adjusting deadzones for easier pickup
Adjusting shelf sizes for more snug placements
Cleaned up any “locked” doors that were unavailable in the demo
Bug Fixes
Optimizing to improve performance of different devices
Cap framerate and prevent a couple of issues at super high framerates
Fix gravity not working on top of the toy bear’s head
Slight colour palette updates
Next up we'll be adding more content and work towards the full release of the game!
