After the demo launch, taking some time off and looking at the project with fresh eyes we've now made some fixes that we thought were important for making the demo more enjoyable. If you haven't got to trying it out yet, now's a good time.
Here's a summary of what we've improved:
Content Changes
Made the placements in the starting apartment feel more snug
Added an audio-visual treat to solving the final puzzle of the demo
Some characters now have hidden portraits until you “meet” them
Improved the puzzle-solving flow in apartment 5
Bug Fixes
Fix some bugs where you could click through solid sprites
Fix some outlines not showing correctly when hovering over objects
Fix some hints that weren’t showing up
Prevent UI elements going over the edge of the Address Book
Increased the interaction area for some awkward sprites
Changed the magazine when you already found it
Fix transparent items being invisible when previewed
Fix a visual error in the portal shader at large resolutions
