Knightstones changes
Many of you have played the Knightstones demo over the past few weeks, and the demo page now has 24 positive reviews!
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to explore the demo, leave a review, join the Discord, and more. When I uploaded the demo almost three weeks ago, I didn’t expect such a warm reception!
Here’s a new update to the demo, bringing new features and fixing some bugs.
Improvements
You can now check the troops you own while on the screen where you gain a new Fighter, the screen where you sell a Fighter, and the screen where you unlock a new Fighter type in the temple.
You can now see what resources are mainly used for when hovering over them in the Order view.
Added a notification on the map when the First Warden is present to trade troops.
Debug
Fixed unit positions that could sometimes sink slightly into the table.
Hitting with the hammer now updates the enemy group’s overall value, taking damage into account.
Dragging an ally over a deployment slot now updates the group value, showing the strength it will have if the unit is placed there.
Destroyed units are now less likely to remain standing for a few seconds before disappearing.
Fixed the recruit button that could sometimes stop responding.
Fixed English text errors.
Balancing
Slight reduction of the difficulty curve leading up to the boss.
