This is the King’s Raid Development Team.
First, we’d like to thank everyone participating in the 2nd Closed Beta Test (CBT).
Improvements have been made to the Transcendence Awakening system (Unique Weapon Awakening Level 15), which has drawn significant player interest.
Since these changes may be difficult to fully experience during the CBT, we’d like to walk you through them in this Developer Note.
We understand that the previous system placed a heavy burden on players and did not feel rewarding relative to the effort required.
Based on your feedback, the system has been adjusted to reduce stress while maintaining the value of progression.
■ Key Changes to the Transcendence Awakening System
Success Rate Adjustments: Base success rates have been fully rebalanced across all stages, creating a more clearly defined difficulty curve for each awakening level.
Awakening Material Changes: Soulstones are no longer required for awakening attempts, reducing the overall burden.
Removal of Downgrade Penalty: Awakening levels no longer decrease upon failure, reducing the risk of each attempt.
Pity System (Guaranteed Awakening) Added: Each failed awakening attempt increases the Guaranteed Awakening Counter by 1.
Once the counter is full, the next attempt is guaranteed to succeed (100% success rate).
The counter resets upon success.
