Hey guys! Finally, after a few months of work, the update has been released! As mentioned earlier, this update is huge, ranging from expanded levels and more items to QoL features and bug fixes!

Hey guys! Finally, after a few months of work, the update has been released! As mentioned earlier, this update is huge, ranging from expanded levels and more items to QoL features and bug fixes!

you can now use the scroll wheel to swap items in the hotbar, not just the number keys

added a battery system to the flashlight. The player will now be required to look for batteries so that the flashlight can be used.

added in-game settings

added cutscenes which will be played on some levels when the player enters them

added a list of controls to The Lobby

added new levels:

  • Shoprooms 2 - A sublevel of Shoprooms, featuring a long, pink corridor

  • Stations - A level resembling an underground railway station, featuring a store and restaurant, as well as an outer area.

  • Fallen World

  • Habitable Zone - A level resembling an underground parking area, with wet concrete.

  • Pool Heaven - A level resembling a pool-like area, surrounded by an infinite ocean

added a help command to the laptop in level Management Hall

the player can now zoom the camera in and out

added a Medium graphics preset

each level displays its name upon entering it

The player is no longer required to press the buttons in Sublimity. Only finding the wrench is required as of this update

made the game replayable by making some levels exclusive to certain exits. This means that some levels can have more than one exit, thus the possibility to end up in a different level

changed some of the progression mechanics in some of the levels

made some slight changes to the inventory UI

improved reflection in the Shoprooms

moved the console input from the laptop in level Management Hall to the bottom

added some more buttons to the laptop in level Management Hall

the credits section in the main menu now has a scrollbar

slightly improved some models

revamped the main menu UI

revamped the pause menu UI

changed some item textures

optimized some levels

changes under the hood

FIXED:

improved object interaction

fixed an issue where footstep sounds would often repeat

made the flashlight in Level 0 less bright

fixed a rendering glitch in an area in Level 0

fixed a noclip bug in level Sublimity

fixed a bug involving function keys

fixed some bugs related to interacting with the laptop in level Management Hall

fixed an issue related to slight noclipping when too close to a wall

fixed some issues related to driving the car in level Synth, like wrong rotations and inaccurate speed

fixed an issue related to loading save data

REMOVED:

removed item swapping in the inventory due to numerous issues

the position of the player is no longer saved and loaded. Only
