changedI have been working on the game's core systems, and I am overall happy with how it's going. While most of the systems are done under the hood and thus you won't really be able to tell what's going on, I do finally have some things I can show you, like a completely reworked, physics-based player controller. While it isn't much given the development time, I figured it would be nice to at least let you know that the game is actively being worked on! I will make sure to showcase as much as I can on YouTube in the near future!

I hope you are all doing well! I'm writing this announcement to inform you about the current state of the game's remake (but this tme, the news aren't all that bad!)

I have been working on the game's core systems, and I am overall happy with how it's going.

Now, the main reason why I'm posting this announcement is because I have a slight debate. Originally, the game was supposed to ship with a lot of additional content. mainly a larger amount of levels than in the Legacy version of the game, as well as more features. However, this would also mean that the initial release would take more time to ship. So I have two options:

  1. Release the game earlier, but with less content initially, with more getting added with time

  2. Release the game later, but with more features on day one

And, I figured it would be a good idea to let you guys decide. I know that neither choices are optimal, but I think it'll be fair for everyone to know what's happening and that I care about actually delivering. Please keep in mind, that I am still not sure about the release date for the game. This is simply because I do not want to make promises and disappoint should anything change unexpectedly. I also think that not having a set release date will allow me to work on the game without feeling pressured, and allowing me to release a higher quality product once it's out!

Let me know in the comments what you think would be best, and thanks a lot for your understanding!

As always, stay tuned!
