Kenophobia Legacy Update Information

After I announced a planned update for Kenophobia Legacy, which was meant to address the security vulnerability, things unfortunately started to fall apart internally, as you already know, such as with Level 0's corruption, which I tried to recover in several ways, including more technical approaches. None of them worked.

While trying to stabilize the project, I also discovered that another level is affected. At that point it became clear that the internal project state closest to the released version is no longer reliable. Fixing this properly would require rebuilding or heavily modernizing parts of Kenophobia Legacy.

This is where I had to stop and be honest with myself and with you: continuing down that path would mean turning Kenophobia Legacy into something it was never meant to be. What was supposed to be a simple and necessary maintenance update turned into a situation where every step forward required rewriting more of the game.

I know this is not what anyone wanted to hear. I promised this update because I believed it was important, and I take responsibility for not being able to deliver it. This outcome genuinely disappoints me.

Because of this, I’m shifting my focus back to the Kenophobia Remake. The remake will run on a secure Unity version and will allow me to address the game properly without compromising what Legacy is. It will take time, but it’s the only path that lets me move forward honestly.

If you’re uncomfortable playing Kenophobia Legacy in its current state, I completely understand — please don’t feel obligated to. Waiting for the remake is a valid choice.

I’m sorry that things turned out this way. I didn’t want it to end here, but I don’t see a way to resolve this without pretending Kenophobia Legacy is something it isn’t. As always, stay tuned.
