changedGot a fun one today. The Katanaut Points Shop is officially live on Steam! That means trading cards, emoticons, badges, profile backgrounds, animated profile backgrounds, and animated avatar frames are all available now. If you've been wanting to deck out your Steam profile with some Katanaut flair, go nuts:
changedhttps://store.steampowered.com/points/shop/app/3032830
changedOn top of that, there's a handful of gameplay changes and bug fixes in this patch:
addedBalance: - Enemy health across all biomes has been flattened out a bit. Some enemies in later biomes were just too tanky, so this should make things feel more consistent overall. - Void Shield implant now has a cooldown. Weaver Fang was proccing it way too easily and it trivialized a lot of encounters. Still strong, just not "why even dodge" strong.
changedImprovements: - Improved the timing on invulnerability for skills and offhands that trigger i-frames. Should feel more responsive and reliable now.
fixedBug Fixes: - Fixed a few critical file saving issues that were reported by a player. Thank you for reporting those! - Fixed an issue for players who migrated from the demo save file to the full release, where 2 specific items were unobtainable due to item pools being changed between the demo and release. Those items should now be acquirable. - Fixed a problem when using teleporter-based items in transition levels. To avoid some corner case bugs going forward, teleporter weapons are now disabled in elevators. - Fixed the animation for teleporter dagger when walking after use.

I spent a lot of time on these and I'm really happy with how they turned out. Collecting the full set of trading cards will unlock badges, and the animated backgrounds and avatar frames look pretty sick if I do say so myself. The backgrounds were created by an amazing artist friend of mine, and if you want the full resolution versions of them, I'll be posting them up in discord later :)

Console Port Update: Quick update on consoles since I know people have been asking. The Switch port is coming along really well and is getting close to done. Once Switch is wrapped up, Xbox and PlayStation ports should follow more quickly since a lot of the heavy lifting carries over. Things are looking good and I'm excited to share more when the time comes. ETA's are a little hard to predict because this is my first time going through the process, but I'm still hoping Q2!

As always, thank you all for playing and for the feedback. You all are the best!
