changedSeeing the item combos people are using (through the leaderboard) is opening up a lot of great opportunities for balance adjustments. I’m really happy to see such a wide variety of builds! My overall goal is to make more synergistic adjustments so players feel encouraged to combine more items in different ways. I think that will lead to a better overall experience.
addedCore: - Steam Deck -- the viewport now expands to 16:10 to fit the steam decks resolution. - Hold-to-Auto-Attack (new Accessibility-tab toggle, default OFF): holding the melee button continuously attacks as fast as possible. While enabled, secondary/special katana attacks switch from hold-to-charge to double-press (fire immediately when available), and the HUD shows two smaller button-popups above the sword icon to indicate the double-press input.
changedBalance: - Chronocide: temporal strike special cooldown ~44% shorter (18s -> 10s) and its strike damage +33%; it was the weakest special payoff on the longest cooldown in the roster. - Leedras Scale: primary swing damage +30%; it had a baseline primary (single-type syringe scaling) and leaned entirely on its dash special.
