changedWe're excited to announce the first update for the Into the M.A.W. demo, addressing bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements based on the community's feedback. Here are the details:
removedImprovementsThrusters : No longer impacted by damage or power, making the ship's movement far more predictable.
changedImprovementsTargeting : Replaced the Captain's Countermeasures with Targeting. At 100% scan, the Captain can target a specific region on an enemy, highlighting it red for all players and increasing damage dealt to that region and all modules within. The Captain can change the targeted region at any time, and the bonus damage is determined by how much power the Engineer puts into Targeting.
addedImprovementsProtocols : The Captain now has a "Protocol" slider that can be adjusted at any time. The closer it is to Aggressive, the more damage the crew deals AND receives. The opposite is true closer to Defensive.
changedImprovementsPilot's Boost : Now tied to the M.A.W. module, with an updated visual.
changedImprovementsGunner's Missile Options : Updated to Barrage (rapid fire but low damage), Neutron (damage + EMP effect), and Gravity (damage + slow effect). A 4th option will be unlocked during the full game's story.
