Insecta Vindicta changes
Hi there, hi there, HI THERE,
We've updated the build in preparation for our next public outings, namely: BitSummit Kyoto and Re:Publika Berlin as we continue our hunt to find a publisher and annoy humans.
Here's some highlights of the changes!:
Cat enemy has a less gruesome reckoning. Too many people complained about the abuse of an EVIL yet DIGITAL cat so we toned that all down
Update to the man's AI & balancing. This is by no means done and will need more work for the full game, but he should be a little more aggressive when you want him to and less in-your-fly-face when you don't want him to be
Rework minigame. Less hitting, more other actions. Its a bit repetitive at times. Will continue to improve it in the full game still also
Make the MAGA hat flammable. This had to be in the build. Thank you dear players for inundating us with this request. Its done.
Updated the UI to match PROFESSIONAL FEEDBACK from someone that does this kind of thing for AAA studios
Reworking the Bug Vision focus ability
We did a Japanese version of the game for BitSummit (although haven't replaced the VO, oops, my bad)
Many little gameplay tweaks, improvements and fixes.
Not too shabby for ZERO working budget, eh?
To-do still:
We want to do a fully fledged tutorial mission where you play a sweet baby fly larva (awww)
We should still do a Credits Roll
Prepare for the next big event: Gamescom Cologne.
