Dev Diary - I - "Saying hello"

Hi everyone,

first of all, let me introduce myself.

Name: Seb Downie-Blackwell.

Age: None of your damn business.

Sex: How dare you?!

Career: Long and varied. From Pet Shop Boy to CEO of a struggling indie dev studio.

Wife: Lovely.

Secondly I want to apologize for not posting sooner. Frankly, I forgot in the excitement and promise to post more often now we have a semblance of a plan for the game: "INSECTA VINDICTA" (Insect Revenge).

In the coming weeks and months I intend to post a sort of weekly diary of what I am doing with the game and some of the thoughts behind it and why I think you should throw lots of money at me some day.

Back at the end of '25 we unveiled the game at Berlin's premiere industry event "Games Ground".

See pictures below. My body, mind and spirit immediately shut down from the trauma of talking on stage and releasing a game demo, but now I am BACK!

This is a picture of my youngest, who is also our Exec Producer on the project, handing out edible insects at the event. We have loads left in case anyone wants some.

Next week: What we are doing next. Then an AMA. And preparation for the next event.
