“Insecta Vindicta” (Latin “Insect Revenge”) is a revenge survival game about a fly and other insects taking on The Humans using savvy, speed and skills, ultimately leading to WW3 and the destruction of humanity.

We want to blend action gameplay of playing as a host of insects taking on massive humans and solving logic puzzles.

Major inspirations include: Shadow of the Colossus (giant dude vs tiny thing), Tony Hawks Pro Skater in terms of gameplay feel and music (more on this next week) and games like I Am Toast or Goat Simulator. Also the Burnout Series inspired us a lot in terms of destruction and chaos.

A bit anarchic, but not random. Silly fun, but logical thought is required. The best solutions can be found by finding a safe spot, watching the flow of the humans and their actions and performing actions that combine to devastating consequences.

Where do we want to go with the game?

We're currently looking for a publisher willing to take a bet on an old games industry veteran and his band of miscreants trying to make a wild game about insects killing all of humanity that wears its politics on its sleeve. We're anti-fascist and the game represents this stance.

We believe that creating art in all its guises is an inherently political act and to be able for people to continue making the art they want, fascism needs to be fought in the streets and in the art we create.
