Hello, this is Narrowdeep, the developer of Shepherd the Inquisitor.
As we wrap up the year in December, we have been busy focusing on enhancing the core content and overall completeness of the game. We have also successfully completed our first offline exhibition. We are pleased to share detailed updates on the current development and project status.
🔔 December Key Development Summary
Chapter 2 Development Continues: We are concentrating on the development of Chapter 2 content to enhance its completeness.
Translation and Review: The Demo version's translation work is in its final stage, and we will proceed with localization review immediately after.
Offline Exhibition Participation: We successfully wrapped up our participation in the 2025 Beaver ROCKS Offline Exhibition, an excellent opportunity provided through the STOVE Indie Boost Lab. We have begun preliminary revisions based on the feedback received during the event.

Main Content: Continued Focus on Chapter 2 Development Steam post image
Our team is dedicating most of its effort to the development of Chapter 2, which forms the crucial middle part of the story. We are integrating new features and art assets into Chapter 2 and conducting intensive testing to ensure cohesive content flow. We are pushing hard to achieve Chapter 2 completion and maximize the game's quality.
Illustrations to be used in Chapter 2 and beyond are being revealed. Here is a conversation scene between 'Sector Chief Brand' and Shepherd, who briefly appeared in the demo version.

The English translation of the demo version for the game's global release is expected to be completed within December. Significant portions, including evidence, readable clues, and character profiles, have already been integrated with the translation. The review process will begin immediately after the demo version translation is finalized.
Offline Exhibition Participation: Reflecting Feedback and Demo Revision Steam post imageSteam post image
The'2025 Beaver ROCKS Offline Exhibition,'which we participated in from December 5th to 7th, was successfully concluded.
As this was our first event, we had to dedicate a significant amount of time to preparation within a short period. However, we worked diligently to better prepare for future offline exhibitions.
We had the opportunity to personally introduce the game and assist with demo play to numerous visitors, receiving diverse feedback, valuable advice, and encouraging words.
Furthermore, we connected with other game development companies participating in the exhibition, exchanging useful insights. This experience provided us with great inspiration and positive motivation for future game development.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude once again to STOVE Indie for their full support and assistance in our participation in the Beaver ROCKS exhibition.
Based on the valuable feedback received during the hands-on sessions at the event, we have begun the work of revising and improving parts of the demo version's systems. To optimize the player experience and increase completeness, we will not overlook any small detail in reflecting all the feedback.
✨ Conclusion. Looking Ahead to the Next Dev Log
We promise to continue sharing updates with you consistently through a monthly Dev Log, released around the same time each month.
Thank you sincerely for your ongoing support and interest. We look forward to seeing you next month with more substantial news, including concrete progress on Chapter 2.
Thank you.
