addedThis tiny update contains a fair bit of content to flesh out The Heist story, with robotic scenery and characters. A new mechanic is introduced with the Bin of Begone, whereby you can trash tiles off the grid. Various important UI improvements will help with the game being more transparent with its inner workings. You'll now be able to see the "match pool" and how it is populated by characters, items and the level. A new meta novelty system keeps track of recent enemies and characters you have met across runs, and reduces the chance of repeating them too often. Also a tiny rat detective can be met and aided in its investigation.

Changes:

  • Various small UI changes based on feedback

  • Turn counter display makes more sense, starts on turn 1 now

  • You can see the match pool now by hovering over characters and the turn counter

  • Status effect casts now follow the rules for statuses like wide, tall, drilleye etc

  • Match Pool information is now exposed in various character/item/level descriptions
