I put in as much as I could remember, but I vaguely recall rebalancing quite a few things, especially challenge mode. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the update! Here's what I remember...
addedFeaturesNew trap: Arrow Rain. This replaces Time Warper. This may only be a temporary change, we'll see. I wanted to give you a new trap to try out!
changedFeaturesDefeat rewards! Sounds crazy, I know. Now you'll keep 20% of the gold and experience, and all of the loot dropped upon a defeat.

addedChangesMastery expansion and cleanup! I've added a lot of QoL to the mastery trees, and added a whole new one in this update. I'll let you see for yourself. Btw, I also added a hotkey to preview the max level.

Features

  • New trapArrow Rain. This replaces Time Warper. This may only be a temporary change, we'll see. I wanted to give you a new trap to try out!
  • Defeat rewards! Sounds crazy, I know. Now you'll keep 20% of the gold and experience, and all of the loot dropped upon a defeat.

  • New Forge UI.

Changes

  • Mastery expansion and cleanup! I've added a lot of QoL to the mastery trees, and added a whole new one in this update. I'll let you see for yourself. Btw, I also added a hotkey to preview the max level.

  • Flame Jet now has 2 new attach points.

  • New descriptions for various items.

  • Replaced some icons with newer ones. Most notably, "Battle" is now "Defend".

  • Lightning pylon now attaches to the ceiling.

  • Traps now show fortitude damage.

  • Added a new UI element for hero fortitude. (It's the yellow bar under their health.)

Balancing

  • Added a cooldown to the pendulum axe, which can be removed again with enough upgrades. This trap felt a little too strong early game, but it can scale back up to how it was in the mid game.

  • Loot chests now have a greatly reduced drop rate, but have rewards increased to compensate. Overall, chests should feel less burdensome and a heck of a lot more rewarding. But there's still RNG, so no guarantees!

Bug fixes

  • I think I fixed a bug related to stacking traps - but I can't remember anymore. Please let me know if you're still able to stack them.

  • Fixed discrepancies with the functionality of the "Esc" button. Again, please let me know if you notice anything out of the ordinary.
