addedAdditions:The Windows taskbar now shows the latest progress of the last active dungeon popup, and will flash when finished! Was tested on Windows 10, so it may not work on linux/proton. Sorry if it doesn't. A toggle for this has been added to the options menu as well.

Along with that, the nosteamworks build has unfortunately returned. Last patch I merged the two to try and prevent any major loading problems, but some issues slipped by. As a result, on the default branch, achievements, cloud saving and the global skirmishes now work again.

If you game is NOT loading, you can switch to the nosteamworks branch, this should fix the issue. I haven't been able to pinpoint what is causing issues, but this has been a solution in the past.

Additions:

  • When hovering over the sidebar for heroes that are gathering or raiding, you'll now see their inventory.

  • New Cursed Relic! Balanced Weight: Heroes carrying no longer deal random damage, instead doing a consistent number.

Other Changes:

  • For boss enemies, the "percent complete" bar for dungeon raiding popups is now the boss' health. This was mainly for the taskbar changes.

  • Cleaned up the tutorial and moved things around a little bit to make everything flow better.

  • Heroes will now only consume elixirs while in battle, not before they've found the goal. (This was the boss in boss raids, meaning heroes only ever used elixirs right at the start of battles, and only one.)

  • The Marksman set wasn't functioning properly, was making damage not random when it was supposed to be making crits always max hit.

Balance:

  • Heroes now use items slower when exhausted, but faster when not.

  • Tweaked order scaling.

  • Increased the price of gunpowder and broken bones.

  • Toadstools now fall under "PWDR" for commodities.

  • Enemies will no longer target lower leveled heroes as often, and target the first hero in the party more.

  • The Victim's clothing set now causes heroes to crit far more when under a status effect, instead of dealing more damage when under a status effect.

  • Reduced the amount of relic drops from orders.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed the dungeon % completion bar.

  • Double clicking to add material to the crafting popup no longer glitches the next recipe button.

  • Heroes can no longer use items when frozen or poisoned if they also have a sweatband.

  • Fixed a potential issue that was causing all guides to automatically unlock.

  • The Artist's Set and Victim's Set now work. Something wasn't set up to track how many status effects the heroes had. (Was only working coincidentally for the Ankh relic.)

  • Fixed an error caused by checking the Tournament bracket without being entered.
